SAN serves African and Afro-Caribbean immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the Greater Washington DC Area. We work to integrate and support its members as they strive to build new lives.

As a result of the services we provide, AAN clients are able to achieve:

• Increased awareness and understanding of immigration benefits.
• Economic and social stability through proper documentation, opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship, strengthened social and cultural networks, increased civic participation and improved integration within their communities.
• Access to county services such as affordable housing, education and vocational training for short-term and long-term employment.
